Very good prduct i buy another to my sister and works very well.
The second time I buy very good.
Overall, I like the product.
I love it for what it is, a tracker, but with some extra features usually for premium trackers or smart watches. The notifications capabilities are great, as I dont need the ability to reply, but I can see the whole message. So far, there are only two faces, and the temperature on the face with weather will not change to Fahrenheit, even with settings changed in the app.Ive spoken with Huawei support and theyve promised to fix this in their upcoming firmware update.Id give this five stars once they fix the issues.
I have had the Band 3 Pro for a 2 months and have tested the features fairly thoroughly in that time. The device has received one firmware update during this period.
I bought it to replace a Tom Tom runner 2 which was a much more running focused device. In short it is good for fitness and activity tracking but falls short as a running device.Firstly the PROsValue for money: Great if you are looking for a fitness tracker that also includes GPS functionality.Battery life: Good (5-6 days) with continuous heart rate monitoring turned off and some GPS use.
This drops to around 4 days with heart rate on sensor turned on all the time.GPS: It is accurate in my experience with fairly quick acquisition of signal.App: This is pretty easy to use and displays data well but could do with some improvmentsCONs, based on my usage and experienceSleep tracking: It will record time spent reading in bed before sleep or after waking as sleep.Heart rate monitoring: The device is accurate in my experience at moderate intensity levels but at high intensity it is unreliable.
For me this is above 170-175 bpm, the device will sometimes show a decrease in heart rate when intensity is high like pushing hard up the last hill of a running race.Displayed Pace: When running one metric shown is current pace/km or mile.
This information is Garbage. It is embarrassingly inaccurate and does not match at all with the actual average pace of a run.
The graph shown in the app displays what the watch records and a fit for this data would not match the actual time/distance average(see attached example)V02 Max estimate: This may be incorrect due to using calculation based on the above pace and heart rate issues.
I have a displayed estimated V02 max of 49 and the app suggests a possible 10km time of 50+min based on this value. However after running a 10km in 45min the app still estimates a V02 max of 49.Altitude: The app and device do not seem to support altitude data.
It is useful to be able to overlay the elevation profile of a run to the speed or to compare running routes.
This is an odd omission in my opinion. In summary it is a cheap device that falls short of my expectations as a runner but in day to day use it performs well.
For reference, I have previously owned a Fitbit Charge 2. I bought this tracker for the main purpose of tracking steps, heart rate, and sleep. This tracker is comparable to Fitbit in those areas in my opinion.
I read some previous Amazon reviews for this product that state it only reads Celsius, Metric, and 24 hour clock. Im not sure if I did something differently during sync and set-up, but mine reads Fahrenheit and 12 hour time.
